ABOUT MENEER VAN DER LEE

I am an artistic strategist specialised  in photography. I have extensive international experience working for and with museums, auction houses and art fairs, mainly working between Amsterdam, Paris and London.

I am currently the Executive Director of Unseen Photo Fair, an art fair dedicated to the latest developments in contemporary photography, and Founder of the Unbound Foundation, dedicated to exploring the outer edges of the photographic universe.

​

I am also a frequent speaker on collecting and the international art market for institutions such as The Sotheby's Institute and London School of Economics.

​

I have been involved as board-, committee- or jury-member with several photography awards and programmes, such as the Elliott Erwitt Fellowship, The Royal Photographical Society, Copenhagen Photo Festival and PHmuseum.

Through my private practice I have also undertaken numerous smaller projects such as book publications and exhibitions.
